This combination of about a dozen wild mushrooms is an extremely versatile mix. The combination of these wild mushrooms has a variety of textures and a rich, complex flavour, built on the back of King Boletes we add mushrooms such as Lobster Mushrooms, Black trumpets, Chanterelles, wild Oyster, Yellowfoots, Leccinum and more. The Wild Forest Mushroom Mix can be used in wild mushroom and steak pie, vegetarian lasagnas, mushroom soups, polenta, vegetable casseroles, risottos, and many other dishes. The mix can also be chipped or powdered and used as a rub for barbecued meats and vegetables. A tablespoon of powder in a soup, stew, or gravy will ensure a richly flavoured dish.
