Admirable bolete
The admirable bolete, aka velvet top, the bragger's bolete or Aureoboletus mirabilis is a prime edible bolete with a mild lemony flavour that is common in western north America, specifically west of the rockies. The admirable bolete is a visually striking mushroom with a reddish velvety cap and stipe with a bright green pore surface. This mushroom is fantastic for people looking for a flavour similar to porcini but milder and more zesty.
