Wintergreen
Wintergreen - Gaultheria procumbens - Teaberry is a mint-like evergreen plant from Canada's east coast that has a distinctive minty evergreen flavour. Often used in toothpaste, gum and mints it is also a key component of rootbeer. Traditionally wintergreen leaf is used in teas and infusions, distilled into an oil or is chewed fresh in place of a breath freshener.
