Our Wild Mushroom Powder is based on our Wild Forest Mushroom Mix  with the addition of more boletes, lobster mushroom, blewits and hen of the woods. This complex mix contains so many yummy mushrooms such as black trumpet, porcini, chanterelle, hedgehog, matsutake, lobster mushroom, leccinum, oyster mushroom, horse mushroom, boletus mirabilis, blewit, hen of the woods, and more. Use as flavour enhancer for soups, stews and gravies. The rich flavour will shine in sauces, sprinkled on top of pizza or pasta and anywhere you want a strong mushroom flavour.

Tough to unpackage this time

This powder has become a pantry staple but getting it out of the shipping material was a challenge this time. Time is nobody's friend so after the porcini powder mess I got some help. My very able 25 year old daughter had a hard time getting the bottle unwrapped.

Fantastic!!

I've added the mushroom powder to the herbs/seasonings/etc that I use for porchetta, Hunan dumplings, and cream sauces (bechamel, alfredo, etc). I like to use as little salt as possible and this is a perfect "flavour enhancer".
