Slow Food Toronto Maple Syrup Taste Workshop

Discover the tradition of maple syrup production with a structured tasting and pancake brunch. Slow Food Toronto will host the first in a series of taste education events, with a structured Maple syrup tasting at the Hart House historic farm property, located in the Caledon Hills on the ridge of the Niagara Escarpment, in Ontario’s Greenbelt.
Co-sponsored by Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation.

Guests will be lead through a structured maple syrup tasting of 8 varieties of syrups, by Jonathan Forbes of Forbes Wild Foods. Chef Tobey Nemeth of Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar will prepare a Red Fife pancake brunch. Hot beverages of apple cider and fair trade coffee, will be offered. The day will include a tour of the sugar bush and the syrup production facilities.
Price includes transportation. Request bus transportation at purchase.
