Slow Food Toronto - Farm to Home Fair Slow Food Toronto Maple Syrup Taste Workshop
Sunday, March 16th, 2008 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Guests will be lead through a structured maple syrup tasting of 8 varieties of syrups, by Jonathan Forbes of Forbes Wild Foods. Chef Tobey Nemeth of Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar will prepare a Red Fife pancake brunch. Hot beverages of apple cider and fair trade coffee, will be offered. The day will include a tour of the sugar bush and the syrup production facilities.
